ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Stuart Templar is Vice President of Internal Communications & Sustainability at Volvo Cars. As part of his role, he is responsible for the delivery and communication of Volvo's sustainability programme, Omtanke.

Before joining Volvo he was a British diplomat for 16 years. Stuart was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2013 New Year's Honours List - 'For Services to Promoting Britain Abroad’.

Stuart will explain why their sustainability programme – Omtanke - is critical to Volvo Cars’ future success, including Volvo’s growing focus on circular design and production process. He will also cover Volvo’s industry-leading commitment to greater use of recycled plastic and their ambitious electric future.
