ABOUT STENA NORDIC RECYCLING CENTER

The Stena Nordic Recycling Center is the Stena Metall Group’s largest and most important investment to date and the hub of our industrial recycling infrastructure. It is a unique facility which gathers technology and knowledge that strengthens our own and our customers' roles in the circular economy. Together we contribute by returning more raw materials of high quality into circulation, which are used in the manufacture of new products all over the world.

Each year, about 130,000 tons of recycled metals is delivered from Stena Nordic Recycling Center. The next big step will come when we begin recycling pure plastic raw materials that can fully replace new plastic made from oil.
